This allows learners to take half the course online and come in for a one-day class. Corporate bookings require a minimum of 6 people for Red Cross courses.

Emergency First Aid (EFA), including CPR/AED Certification
This is a one-day First Aid program including CPR Level C skills and certification. Simple First Aid and CPR techniques are taught in an interactive environment for individuals who want an overview of First Aid and CPR for the workplace or home.
The course covers skills needed to recognize, prevent and respond to cardiovascular emergencies for adults, children and babies, such as CPR Level C, AED and other topics like choking, airway and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission.

Standard First Aid (SFA) Including CPR/AED Certification
This two-day course covers CPR Level C skills and certification. Learn comprehensive First Aid and CPR techniques. Perfect for those who need training for work requirements (oil and gas field requirement), or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies in the workplace or home.
The course covers a variety of topics from basic (such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR Level C, AED, prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth topics such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine.

Standard First Aid (SFA/HCP) including Health Care Provider
This course covers all that is incorporated in the Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid course, with the addition of CPR, which is required for Health Care Providers (such as physicians, nurses, EMR, EMT, paramedics and allied healthcare providers). This program meets all 2010 ILCOR CPR guidelines.

CPR Level C (CPR-C) with AED Certification
This course covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies for adults, children and babies, as well other topics such as choking and airway/breathing emergencies. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification included.

CPR – HCP (CPR/HCP) with AED
This Canadian Red Cross course incorporates the new 2010 CPR guidelines and targets Health Care Providers or candidates going into the following professions: physician, nurses, EMRs, EMTs, paramedics and allied health care providers.
Course Content
All Level C Skills plus:

- Adult/child/baby – 2 rescuer CPR (30:2 ratio - adult and 15:2 ratio - child and baby)

Childcare First Aid (CCFA) including CPR Level B
This comprehensive Canadian Red Cross First Aid and CPR training is for individuals who need training for childcare or early childhood education work, or who simply want more knowledge to respond to baby and child injuries and emergencies at home.
The course covers a variety of topics from basic (such as cardiovascular emergencies for children and babies, CPR Level B, AED, choking, airway and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth ones such as sudden medical emergencies and injuries to the head and spine.

- In Alberta this course is required for day-care and day-home workers and meets the standards of the Alberta Family & Social Services department.
- In BC this course is recognized by the British Columbia Provincial Child Care Facilities Licensing Board.
Note: This course includes CPR Level B.

Babysitting First Aid
This course teaches Basic First Aid and caregiving skills to youth 11-15 years old who wish to babysit. Participants learn how to provide care to younger children in a variety of age groups and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. This course also benefits youths by allowing them to promote their trained babysitting services to prospective clients.

Canadian Red Cross "Recertification" Courses
ALL life-saving skills from Day One Chapters are taught and supplemented with appropriate topics from the two-day course.
Duration
- Depending on the level of recertification, all recertification courses vary from 4 to 6 hours.
